What is multimedia?

Multimedia is a combination of two words Multum + Medium i.e. used for multiple forms of information processing like: -Text, Picture, Animation, Audio, Video etc.

                   Multimedia means that computer represented through audio, graphic image, video and animation in additional to traditional media.

          Multimedia may be broadly divided into linear and non-linear categories. Linear is processing active image without any navigation like: -cinema but nonlinear processing computer games its text also known as hyper media contents.
